The Esterel Massif between St Raphael and La Napoule has a breathtaking beauty. One of the loveliest areas of Provence (3 stars on the Michelin Tourist Guide). Its highest point "Mount Vinaigre" is a mere 618 m - 2027 ft offers a splendid panorama on the coast. The massif is covered with pine and cork oak forest, olive trees, mimosas, eucalyptus trees, shrubs and bushes : heaths, arbutus, gorse, lavenders, thyme which provide a glorious mass of colour.

With the borders of Low and High-Provence, from Castellane to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the Verdon was worked in the Jurassic limestone of the extraordinary throats which precede some clues. On 21 km length, the Verdon dug spectacular throats whose walls can reach 700 meters in height. The Verdon Gorges are single and largest in Europe, a pure wonder of nature.
